Country star Randy Travis was arrested Tuesday night in Texas on suspicion of DWI after crashing his car, TMZ reports.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that Travis was arrested around 11:59 p.m. with minor cuts and bruises. He was also booked on a "retaliation and obstruction" charge, which is a felony.

Why? Well, apparently when police arrived, Travis was lying naked in the street, with his busted up 1998 Trans Am off on the side of the road.

Then, when police tried to get him into the squad car, he threatened to "shoot and kill" the troopers, according to TMZ.

Travis' car was the only vehicle involved in the crash.

He is currently still in custody, TMZ reports.

FOX411's calls and emails to Travis' rep were not returned.

It's the singer's second arrest this year. In February Travis, 53, was busted for public intoxication for allegedly drinking in front of a Baptist church. According to the police report, Travis said he had just gotten into a fight with his girlfriend.
