Actress Julie Benz was on-hand last week to present actress Christina Applegate with the coveted Norma Zarky Humanitarian Award at the 2012 Women In Film Crystal + Lucy Awards, and apparently the share more in common than a friendship and a profession.

"My very first job in Los Angeles was on 'Married With Children. We have known each other through the years," Benz told FOX411's Pop Tarts column at the star-studded event that sought to show support for women in the entertainment industry. "People actually think I am her a lot, and I take that as a great compliment. She has had such a long and great career."

But truth be told, if the "Dexter" star could play any living actress in a biopic today, she didn't hesitate over who she would choose.

"I would portray Angelina Jolie for lots of reasons," Benz continued with a cheeky laugh. "She is amazing, her humanitarian work is amazing and she is just gorgeous."
